Hot Stone Massage Course
This one day certified training in Hot Stone Massage utilises deep tissue techniques which covers the full body. Our Hot Stone Massage Course offers massage techniques that go back many thousands of years.
This therapy has become one of the most popular over the last two decades. Working in harmony with massage, this hot stone massage places stones on the client's body and also in the therapist’s hands. Pure bliss!!
The course content includes the following:
The history of hot stone massage from its inception to present day
Advice on obtaining Basalt stones and heater
Preparation and equipment
Composition of basalt stone
The benefits of thermal stone massage
Contraindication and cautions
Full body massage with hot stones
This workshop counts as 6 hours CPD credit
(Certification provided after submission of a small number of case studies)

Prerequisites for all bodywork CPD's are a Massage Diploma and a recognised Anatomy and Physiology qualification unless specifically stated otherwise.
